Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using EncryptedTechnology training services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Services

EncryptedTechnology provides an online cybersecurity awareness training platform delivering training built to the Texas Cyber Command (TXCC) FY 26-27 standards, along with general security awareness training, through a web-based subscription.

3. Subscription and Payment

• Annual subscriptions are billed upfront.
• Pricing is based on the seat tier you select.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe.
• All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD).

4. Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued after purchase as enrollment codes are issued immediately upon payment. The organization administrator is also enrolled as the first student and counts towards the total seats purchased. All sales are final.

5. Enrollment Codes and Seats

• Enrollment codes are issued immediately upon payment.
• Government agencies: codes are valid through August 31 of the applicable fiscal year.
• Private organizations: codes are valid for one year from the purchase date.
• Seats are non-transferable between organizations.
• The administrator occupies one seat.
• Seat limits are enforced automatically.

6. Acceptable Use

• One account per employee.
• No sharing of login credentials.
• No automated or scripted completion of training modules.
• No circumvention of quiz requirements.
• No resale of access codes.
• Violation may result in account termination without refund.

7. Certificates and Compliance

• Certificates are issued upon genuine completion of the required modules and passing of quizzes.
• A 70% passing standard is required.
• Certificates are tamper-evident and carry unique certificate numbers.
• We maintain training records for 7 years.
• We cannot guarantee regulatory approval of any specific jurisdiction.

8. Intellectual Property

• All training content is owned by Encrypted Technology LLC.
• No reproduction or redistribution of course materials is permitted.
• Your organization's data remains yours.

9. Limitation of Liability

• The service is provided "as is."
• We are not liable for cybersecurity incidents that occur after training completion.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to Encrypted Technology LLC for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Disclaimer

EncryptedTechnology provides cybersecurity awareness training content for informational and compliance purposes. Completion of our training program does not guarantee immunity from cybersecurity incidents. Organizations should implement comprehensive security programs beyond awareness training.

11. Termination

• We may terminate access for non-payment or violation of the acceptable use terms.
• You may cancel anytime through the customer portal.
• Access continues through the end of the paid period after cancellation.
• No refund is provided on termination for cause.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Texas.

13. Changes to Terms

Material changes to these terms will be communicated via email 30 days in advance.
